The class’s focus is on advanced grammar and reading. It will develop the students’ ability to read authentic Russian texts, understand and use complex grammar, and employ idiomatic patterns of speech. Readings will include a range of genres of written speech, with an emphasis on idiomatic vocabulary and different stylistic properties.

Prerequisites: 4 semesters of Russian, Russian 103A or equivalent if approved by the instructor.
