Armenian 1B: Introductory Armenian

ARMENIAN 1B IS A CONTINUATION OF 1A.

This course is for students who have little previous knowledge of Armenian or who have successfully completed 1A. Proficiency in the four language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—is developed. Armenian is taught as one language, with two standard variants. Commonalities between Eastern and Western Armenian are highlighted and the difference recognized and taught.

Among the requirements are regular participation in class, homework assignments, one midterm and one final project and/or test.
