Dissertation: Myth and Appropriation: Fryderyk Chopin in the Context of Russian and Polish Literature and Culture
After Berkeley, Tony H. Lin (B.A., B.M., Northwestern University) joined Connecticut College as a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow. He then taught at the University of Pittsburgh and Boston College, where he is currently Assistant Professor of the Practice and the Russian/Slavic Coordinator.
His specializations include Russian literature and music of the 19th and 20th centuries, Polish literature, Transposition/Intermediality Studies (relationship between literature and other art forms).
Lin is also an accomplished pianist, having graduated from Northwestern University’s School of Music with a degree in piano performance and given numerous recitals in the United States and Europe.
